Everything has been rebuilt with cleaner code, a better structure, and flexibility in mind, so you can use the tools not only inside Brains AI but also easily integrate them into your own systems.

  • Completely redesigned brains with smarter actions, cleaner logic, and a more modular structure.

  • All components now feature clean, organized inspectors for faster setup and better readability.

  • Every script is fully documented with summaries and tooltips, making it easy to understand and extend.

🆕 New Brain Type: Coward

  • A unique behavior that prioritizes retreat and evasion when under threat.

👀 Better Movement Behaviors

  • Characters can now jump across gaps using NavMeshLink connections.
  • Characters can run backward while maintaining eye contact with their target.

📢 Noise & Alerts System

  • Added a new Alarm Emitter component — works like explosions, screams, or sirens to alert specific or all agents to a location.
  • Characters can easily make noise to alert others by simply calling CallAgents().

⚔️ Easy Randomized Attacks

  • Support for both automatic and animation event/external attack calls.
  • Simple random attack selection and random damage application for varied combat.

🎮 Take Control of Any Brain

  • Instantly take control of any AI agent with a click during Play Mode using the Camera Follow system — perfect for testing.

🧠 Tactical Brain Upgrade

  • Generates better tactical spots using a fixed 3D grid on the NavMesh surface for more realistic cover behaviors.
  • Tactical brains now share information with other brains and can retreat intelligently like the Ranger brain.

🚨 Patrol System Improvements

  • Smarter nearest-point detection and support for looping/back-and-forth modes.
  • Patrol points are now numbered in the scene for easier editing.

🛠️ New Utility Methods

  • Game Methods: One-shot audio and effect spawners for quick prototyping.
  • Gizmos: Static drawing helpers for advanced visualization.
  • Inspector: Custom EditorGUILayout helpers for cleaner editor tools.
