Developer, Asset Creator, or are you a bit of both?

Asset Creator.

Full Time, Part Time, or Hobby?

Hobby.

How long have you been doing this?

I started with gamedev 10 years ago and sold my first asset 7 years ago.

What made you become a dev/artist?

Fellow guys from my hometown knew that I was working as a graphic designer and hired me to draw some assets for their puzzle game. I never got paid for this project but I enjoyed the process and I’m still in gamedev.

Favourite software/tools to use?

My 10 years old Wacom tablet, Photoshop and Blender

What’s one tip you would give to someone starting out?

Practice every day in drawings. Don’t forget to create mood boards and follow favourite artists. And never give up!

How do you promote your work (games or assets)?

I don’t really do this, but I have more than 6000 sales all over the world.

What project are you working on now?

I want to focus on 3d stuff and now I’m creating a 3d scene from Harry Potter in Blender. The scene will have a lot of things I’ve never made before (rain, fog and other effects).

Favourite game ever & why?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild I have some cozy memories about playing this game, it was September 2019, when I got keys from my very first own property. It was tiny and absolutely empty.
I had only a mattress and Nintendo Switch in this apartment and I was spending evenings solving temples in the Kingdom of Hyrule.
