Pita, I love the set! The included guides were also very handy. Anxiously looking forward to future packs – may contact you for further customization if my project goes anywhere, if that’s ok with you!

Thanks ggspringer! I’m glad you like it and that the guides were worthwhile putting together. I’m also excited to work on the next pack! I’ll put my contact details up on my profile here if you need to contact me.

What would it be the right size for the animated characters to strip them down from the sprite sheet ? Im having troubles to use them with GMS2

The sprite sheets for the characters are in 48*48 cells. I kept it the same across all the animations (despite wasted space) so that it could be easily imported. (and to also leave room for larger characters & animations in the future)

Hi Pita, nice work! Will you release the cave update also on gamedevmarket?

Thanks! Unfortunately each new version has to go through a review process on gamedevmarket. It’s out of my hands how long it’ll take to be up here, sorry.

I actually bought this from itch.io (sorry GDM) but just wanted to comment while I was browsing the new site.

This set (actually everything by this guy/gal) is awesome. Its really well done. Simple but stylish. Love it! Do some items or something next to match the style.

ps, Put some better examples up as at the moment the pic does not do it justice.
pps, It also comes with guides to show you variations of how the tiles can be put together. A lot of work that you do not normally see in these sorts of things.

I just want to say thanks so much for this comment. Certainly hope to do items in the future.

And sorry for such a tardy response!

And what’s more… you know what… for some reason the sample images for both my asset packs seemed to have disappeared… Will update them accordingly!

thanks for the hard work. i wonder if you would provide bigger tiles in order to support higher density displays (at least 3x for newer iphones, so 48×48 tiles) thanks for your time

@tarokker

Do you mean designing new assets at 48×48 size or just scaling them up?

If you mean designing new tiles at a larger resolution, that would be an entirely new project, so no plans for that here.

As for scaling up, that’s best done on the programming side of things rather than scaling up the assets themselves. Although I don’t recommend it, if you need to scale the assets up yourself for any reason, just enlarge by 300% (make sure to use ‘nearest neighbour’ scaling type in your image editor to preserve sharp pixels).

Just stumbled across this and looking to purchase, however do you plan to release more packs in this style in the future? (town, field, characters, etc)

@mlmattos Glad you liked it! The next pack will be a monster pack. After that I will continue to expand the set. A lot of new environments and characters are on the road-map.
I plan to create a variety of classes with different weapons, but not on the same character.
