Hi skinwalker, the spriter's source file is not importable into unity as gameobject. as noted on the item description, the .SCML file used to create animations

skinwalker 7 years ago

Yes I convert it into a prefab, its called George, then I drag and drop it and it looks like in the image I sent you. Believe me I have a lot of spriter's animations in my game and I see this for a first time.Is it working properly when you try?

tokegameart 7 years ago

Please send me the image to [email protected] I can't open the link you just sent. I haven't tried to import the spriter's soruce file.

I just sent you the message and image attached.

I'll fix the file ASAP if there is any error.

When I open the .scml file in Spriter, everything works great, but when you import it in unity I have no idea why the images appear to be in a weird positions. Also unfortunately we cannot use the png sequel, because it will take too much memory.

skinwalker 7 years ago

Also something that might help - I noticed that inside the Unity's animator bone_14 ( which has the head attached to it ), does not have a position property, when I import other spriter prefabs, they have a position + rotation already set-up, while bone_14 and the body don't have a position property. I am 100 % sure that when I import it it goes to some default position, that's why we see this weird glitch.

As you said, the scml file not working properly after imported into unity. I'm trying to fix this error.

skinwalker 7 years ago

Yes, the positions of the PNGs is messed up.

tokegameart 7 years ago

I know what is causing the error now. You can't move the default image pivot in spriter, keep the pivot at the top corner. If you don't mind, I'll create new animations with no change the default pivot and update the zip file.

skinwalker 7 years ago

Yes, please create the same animations with the right pivot point if possible, I cannot use spriter myself, because I have no skills and our animator is on a vacation and we need the character ASAP.

I'll send you the new .SCML via mail once it done, because you need to wait a few days to gamedevmarket approve the item update.
