Hey there! Did you find out if it has a tile grid like in the picture we can use after we purchase it?

I can’t see the grid. It looks like the grid is not part of the kit.

Hey @zxretrosoft , @huffyishere ,
thank you a lot for purchasing my asset pack. =)
The grid is part of the asset pack. It als has 5 color variations.
But the so called ‘grid’ is a selector graphic.
You can find the graphic under “Blocks -> Sand_Rock_Ways -> selector01”
(Tested In version 1.0 and 1.2 – please make sure you’ve got my latest update, which I’ve uploadet 2 days before.)

As I’ve mentioned the graphics are single graphics like the block graphics.
This means you have to create your own grid by simply copy and paste this single graphic more times in a row.
(But this gives you more freedome for your own creativity.) 😉

For instance you ccan it also use for a ‘selector’ instead of a mouse courser. It has’nt to be a grid. =)

Kind Regards
Cryptogene

Please, how do I find out that I have version 1.2? It seems to me that I do not have water tiles (animation) 🙁

Hey,
first of all it should be named “Isometric Asset Pack 1.2” or something like this if you’ve unzipped it.

Or at least it should have a folder “Water & way” inside your “Style (Comic, Flat or Smoooth) -> Single / Set” Folder.

If it’s not so, you should re download the package.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I do not have the folder there. I can not download the package again. There is no Download option 🙁

Hey,
okay you’ve the old version of this asset pack.
Please go to your profile and navigate to “Purchases”.
There should be an option to redownload, so I think…

“An asset I purchased says it has been updated, what do I do?
If an asset you have purchased is updated by the seller, you can download the updated asset at no additional cost.”

If you really can’t find this option, please also write your problem to the support team from gamedevmarket.
After your reply to the support (if there’s really no download button in this menue), write me again. We will surely find a soultion for this.

I still have a little question, please. In which program is best to compose the pieces? (preferably Free).

Hey,
this is completly up to you. I think there’s no program which is ‘best’ for this purpose. I’m using Photoshop or similar programs.
But in terms of free software you could use something like “Krita” or “Gimp” or “Inkscape”.

All this programs should have the option to set up a raster (some also a isometric). If you can set up something like this, there should be no problem with creating your own game / background, …
You could of course also use Unity or UE4 or another game engine directly.

All this depends on your preference and workflow. You should try what fit the best for you. 🙂

Thank you! Inkscape looks best for this purpose. (First I did it in ZONER, but it was not so comfortable.)
